Reports, spreadsheets and backups

Your records belong to you. WhelpHQ can turn them into PDF reports, spreadsheets or a full backup whenever you like.

Reports

Go to Reports, choose a Report Type (and the dates, for the treatment, breeding and finance reports), then tap Download PDF Report. Some reports can be downloaded as a CSV spreadsheet instead.

• Treatment History: every medication given, such as vaccines and wormers.
• Dog Register: your full list of dogs, for insurance, a sale or pedigree paperwork.
• Breeding Records: your matings and their due dates, filtered by outcome (Resulted in a birth, Did not take or Still expecting) if you like.
• Finance Summary: expenses and invoices for the period.
• Dog Certificates: a page for each dog.
• Compliance Record: your state’s breeding-dog records (Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania).

Spreadsheets of everything

Go to Settings → Your data → Download CSV bundle. Choose what to include (dogs, treatments, heats, matings, litters, weights, health, contacts, finances, contracts and more), and WhelpHQ downloads a zip with one spreadsheet for each. They open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Photos aren’t included.

A full backup

In Settings → Your data, tap Export JSON to download a backup of your records. Photos and PDFs stay in your WhelpHQ account rather than in the file, and bottle and tube feed logs aren’t included. Keep it somewhere safe, such as your email or cloud storage.

Working offline

WhelpHQ keeps a copy of your records on your device, so you can log heats, matings, treatments and puppy weights with no signal. Changes sync when you’re back online. The sync icon at the top of the screen shows whether everything is up to date, and Settings → Account & Sync → Sync Now syncs straight away.
